Opened in 1929, Owlerton Stadium is Yorkshire’s premier Greyhound race track and has been part of The A&S Leisure Group since 1991.

Owlerton Stadium offers a fantastic venue for anyone looking for an adrenaline-fueled night out in Sheffield. Popular with families, couples and colleagues, the Stadium provides a range of packages available in the Restaurant, Executive Boxes and trackside, with capacity for 3,200 spectators across the whole site.

Racing takes place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday when guests can enjoy a variety of race packages, including the Six Pack and Super Six Pack deals. Daytime race meetings are also held every Tuesday and Thursday.

The 300-seater Panorama Restaurant offers excellent views over the track and allows customers to watch live greyhound racing action as they dine. The Stadium also have a range of VIP boxes accommodating parties of between 20 and 80 guests offering a private bar, tote betting facilities and uninterrupted views of the track.

Speedway

Owlerton Stadium has hosted Speedway Racing since it opened in 1929 and sees Premier League winning Speedway team, Sheffield Tigers, race every Sunday night from March to October. Racing starts at 4pm and is a fantastic way to spend the evening.

Stock Car Racing

Being one of the UK’s best appointed sports stadia, Owlerton Stadium also holds Formula 1 and 2 Stock Car and Banger racing. It offers fantastic views of the races, with spectators being thrillingly close to the all of the action.
